The Delphini-1 CubeSat from Aarhus University, measuring only 10x10x10 cm, celebrated its 2-year anniversary in Space last month.

Originally the GomSpace-built satellite was planned for a-1-year mission in Space with focus on collecting data and downloading images from the satellite. The unexpected long lifespan has given the engineering students at Aarhus University an extraordinary opportunity to do further testing and observation of Space and Earth through images from the satellite. We are proud to be part of this scientific collaboration with Aarhus University.

The Delphini-1 CubeSat is now heading for Earth and will burn up on its way back into the atmosphere within the next month.
