inter-satellite
communication
NanoCom Link IS1 is designed to make communication between satellites through seamless in-plane communication in the S-band. Operating in the 2200–2290 MHz range, it uses Time Division Duplex (TDD) to provide a reliable, two-way intersatellite link – ensuring efficient data exchange between spacecraft.
GomSpace has been at the forefront of inter-satellite RF link technology, first demonstrating its capabilities in 2017 with the 3-Diamonds mission, followed by the GOMX-4 mission in 2018.
