- Integrating into the Advanced Mission BU and establishing working relationships with engineering teams in Aalborg.
- Delivering your first mission architecture trade study and contributing to at least one active proposal.
- Demonstrating clear and effective communication of trade-off results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Over time, you will be recognised for establishing and maintaining a reusable mission design toolchain — including AI/ML-enabled methods — and for leading end-to-end mission design that strengthens GomSpace’s competitive position in institutional and defence markets.
What You Bring
You are a mission designer and systems architect with strong experience in early-phase spacecraft mission development, comfortable working at the intersection of technical depth and strategic decision-making.
You likely bring:

Partnership Manager – Building Strategic Alliances, Driving Global Impact
Application deadline: As soon as possible
Do you thrive on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and turning partnerships into long-term strategic value?
As our new Partnership Manager, you’ll help shape the future of GomSpace by expanding our network of collaborators across industries, geography, and technologies. This is a role where your primary responsibility is to build bridges – not manage transactions. You will identify and develop strategic partnerships that strengthen our solutions portfolio and help us deliver greater value to the organizations that rely on us to build critical space infrastructure.
Working closely with our Solutions teams, Business Development, and technical units, you will align partnership strategies with our long-term vision – always with an eye on customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic fit. You’ll represent GomSpace externally, foster global relationships, and act as a cultural ambassador for our values and principles across every interaction.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Partnership Manager, you’ll operate at the intersection of business, technology, and relationships. Your job is to drive strategic collaboration – from identifying the right partners to co-developing meaningful solutions. You’ll translate complexity into opportunity and ensure that every partnership contributes to our customers' success and GomSpace’s growth.
Your tasks will include:
- Defining and executing partnership strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Identifying, evaluating, and engaging with potential partners across industries and regions
- Leading strategic partnership projects from ideation to implementation
- Building and maintaining a high-value network of startups, institutions, and global industry players
- Acting as a key internal advocate for partnership-driven growth, ensuring knowledge sharing and internal alignment
Expect international travel (approx. 20-25%) as part of this role.
What We Are Looking For
At GomSpace, we believe in partnerships with purpose. We’re looking for someone who combines business insight with people skills and can navigate complex environments while staying focused on value creation. You don’t just manage relationships — you shape ecosystems and help others see the potential in collaborative innovation.
You should feel confident working with both technical and commercial stakeholders, negotiating deals, and adapting to evolving opportunities. Experience in infrastructure, defense, or space industries is highly valued, as is your ability to represent our values and ethics across cultures and contexts.
Ideally, you:
- Have a relevant degree in business, engineering, or related fields
- Bring solid experience in partnership or strategic business development roles
- Possess strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Have a strategic mindset with the ability to spot and shape long-term value
- Are resilient, diplomatic, and agile – with experience navigating complex, cross-cultural landscapes
Why Join Us?
In this role, you’ll be more than a relationship manager – you’ll be a strategic force in how GomSpace grows, adapts, and delivers on its mission. We offer a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ability to connect, co-create, and lead externally will have a lasting impact.
If you’re ready to help define how GomSpace engages the world – and shape the partnerships that power tomorrow’s space solutions – we’d love to hear from you.

Senior Business Development Director – Defence
Application deadline: As soon as possible
Are you a commercially minded strategist who understands how to navigate complexity and build influence where it matters most?
Do you have the credibility to operate at senior levels, the tenacity to lead long-cycle deals, and the vision to turn defence needs into opportunity?
If you’re someone who thrives at the intersection of business, politics, and national interests, we’d like to speak with you.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape and scale our defence business globally. You’ll take the lead in building strategic partnerships, defining long-term direction, and ensuring our cutting-edge space technologies meet the evolving needs of defence and government customers.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who understands how to create value in complex stakeholder landscapes — and deliver results with purpose and precision.
You will act as the global focal point for defence opportunities, driving our commercial agenda and ensuring we’re positioned for success in key markets. This role is about more than selling — it’s about trust, timing, and alignment with missions that matter.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading Defence-related business development across global markets — from early-stage engagement through to contract win.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across ministries, government institutions, industry, and academia.
• Developing and executing clear go-to-market strategies with measurable outcomes and commercial impact.
• Driving capture strategies for RFPs, tenders, and grants, aligning internal teams around customer mission needs.
• Representing GomSpace at strategic forums and positioning the company as a key player in space-enabled defence capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with the strategic awareness to see the opportunity before others do — and the drive to secure it. You’ll need strong commercial instincts, political fluency, and confidence to lead across ambiguity. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the pace of innovation and the patience required for institutional change.
At GomSpace, it’s not just your technical skills that matter — your character is just as important. We value individuals who bring a positive, proactive attitude, and can build trust across cultures. We are looking for a leader who’s as focused on collaboration and relationship-building as they are on results.
We imagine you have:
• A proven track record in Defence, aerospace, or government business development, ideally involving space-based technologies or public procurement.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with experience working across cultures, hierarchies, and political settings.
• A strong value-driven mindset, focused on aligning customer objectives with strategic business outcomes.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g. Spanish, Arabic) are an asset in a global context.
• The agility to pivot when needed, reshaping deals and strategies as markets, needs, and missions evolve.
