The NanoCom Test Cap X forms a Faraday cage around the antenna, preventing unwanted radiation from entering or leaving the test setup. This allows communication system testing in complex laboratory environments with improved repeatability.

Dual Polarization Measurement Capability:

Independent RHCP and LHCP SMA outputs provide direct access to both circular polarizations. Measure transmitter performance, polarization isolation, and antenna characteristics using conventional RF test equipment.

TVAC Compatible Design:

Constructed using low-outgassing materials and designed for operation under vacuum conditions, the Test Cap X can remain installed during thermal-vacuum campaigns, reducing setup changes between test phases.

Simulate End-to-End Links on the Ground:

Connect the Test Cap X directly to ground station equipment through suitable attenuation networks to emulate in-orbit communication links during verification and validation campaigns.
